This blog will be dedicated to Marilyn Monroe. I wanted to create a Tumblr extension to my other site - which is called "1962" and has been the largest MM site on LiveJournal for over 6 years.

I have been fascinated by Marilyn for over 20 years now, since I was a little child. I've studied books about her and written several essays on her life... and in fact Marilyn was the subject of my own graduate thesis. I'm considering one day compiling a biography on her as well.

For now, I just enjoy sharing and discussing, and posting many rare photos that I have in my collection. I would like to use this forum to set some records straight about her, share some facts about her, and most importantly to hold a good thought for her.
